The SYMPHONIC ORCHESTRA is a study of advanced orchestral and string orchestral music.  The integrated music curriculum reinforces the technical, listening, analytical and performances skills for literature in historical and multi-cultural context.  Membership is open for all interested students with an advance degree of proficiency on a string instrument an opportunity to perform. A wide variety of music is studied including full symphonic repertoire.  Maintaining membership requires effort, interest and proper deportment.  Performances are a logical outgrowth and include concerts, festivals, solos, ensembles, recitals and appearances within the community where appropriate.  Also, where appropriate, the orchestra may give a spring concert tour.
